a program for assisting with the restoration of Health one step at a time
Program Components
The Optimôm Health Program consists of five areas that all deserve attention when healing from a health crisis: Spiritual Health, health of our bodies, health of our minds, health of our homes/workplaces and health of our world.
Spiritual Health
Of the many religions throughout the world, most have a common theme of a belief in a power greater than man himself. This faith can be critical when healing from a disease or health crisis as priorities tend to refocus. The power of prayer in the form of gratitude and intentional thinking/healing is a vital part of this program.
Belief in a higher source
Universal Laws
Gratitude
Prayer/Meditation
Forgiveness
Health of Our Bodies
There are thousands of chemicals in our environment today, some estimates indicate a number as high as 80,000. Many of these chemicals have not been tested for human safety and have made their way into our water supply, our food, our air, personal products all of which can then end up in our bodies. As our bodies are overwhelmed with chemicals and toxins, our immune systems become overloaded and this can open the door for a health challenge.
In a similar line of study, the field of epigenetics has garnered much attention over the last several years, the premise being that genetics can predispose a person to a certain disease but whether that gene manifests as a disease can be directly influenced by the environment and other lifestyle choices including:
Adequate Sleep
Nutrition
Exercise/Yoga
Personal Care Products
Detoxification
Health of Our Minds
Stress has been called America’s #1 health problem of the information age as we live in a time of information overload and distractions. Training the brain to focus on what is important while releasing the mental clutter is critical. In addition, the mind has a powerful impact on our bodies and the ability to heal.
